3 pretty, personal gifts for planet-friendly folk on my Etsy shop this Christmas.

The most wonderful time of the year is here! Crisp autumn landscapes, cold, crinkly leaves underfoot, your breath billowing in clouds in front of your eyes, twinkling lights around every corner and of course the promise of snow, it’s enough to make even the hardest of humbugs, melt a little. IRL, we don’t actually have much of that at the moment. It’s 10 degrees and I'm still wearing a jacket but, my Christmas list is well underway, for the kids anyway. I gave myself the task of buying their gifts in November to try and make December as enjoyable as possible, it’s going well so far, I’ve surprised myself!

For the adults in my life, it's another story. Every year I find it harder to know what to buy and as someone that doesn’t like to buy for the sake of it, picking the perfect gift is so bloody tough.

To let you in on a lil’ secret, I generally go down the art route. New prints and merch by local artists always go down a treat, so I thought I would put together a list for any like-minded folk of my own art and illustrated goods.

Whether you’re after Christmas cards, new wall art for your nature-loving friend or you wanted to spend a little more on something personal, I think this little list is enough to show your loved ones you really care. Like really. Even if I do say so myself!

The most Christmassy illustrated greetings cards you could find on Etsy.

There may only be 3 but they are 3 Christmas cards that encompass the most festive feels of the season. Illustrated with fine liner pen and watercolour, and printed onto fully recycled, 350gsm card stock, these festive fellas will bring a smile to your eyes and a warm hug to your heart. They’re completely blank inside so you can fill them up to your heart's content and they come with a Kraft paper envelope. You can purchase them separately or as a bundle from my Etsy shop. Little heads up though... the jolly racoon is selling out fast!

Show some love with a personalised commission, with my Botanical Silhouette illustrations.

If you’re after a gift that says something meaningful this Christmas, then my Botanical Silhouette could be right up your alley. Do you have a memory you want to cherish forever, a moment in time, a photograph that means the most to you? This could be the perfect moment to turn into a Botanical Silhouette! Your image turned into hundreds of wonky and wonderful little botanical doodles. Popular with parent and baby photos, pet, or special place photos. You can drop me a message here to discuss requirements and book for Christmas.

Planet-friendly and lasts a lifetime, art prints could be your perfect gift to give this Christmas.

I am a regular gift-er of art, I think it’s so personal and something that can be enjoyed for years, especially if it means something to the recipient. I also personally bloody love receiving prints as gifts (something I suspect my husband absolutely does not!) My bestseller, the Wild Fungi print is perfect for the nature-loving, mushroom fanatic (like me) in your life and my newest print, Ginkgo has such a delicate, detailed, and minimal feel, it looks smashing in a white frame on a white wall. Exactly how I'm displaying mine. Or grab yourself 4 of the OG’s, the Fern Illustrations. Pop them in some lovely brass frames and you’ve got yourself a fantastic gift for your nature-loving pal. All my prints are printed onto fully recycled, 350gsm paper and sent out in bio-degradable packaging.

So there you have it, a tiny but mighty list to help you with your Christmas gift dilemmas. If you’re new here and fancy more of these immaculately written and slightly hilarious jumble of words, pop your email in the box below and if you liked this blog, you can find bite-sized versions and stay up to date with my creations over on my Insta @right_hand_house.

Oh, and if you really wanted to spread the Christmas cheer it would be fan-bloody-tastic if you could give this blog a little share or pin.

Much love
